Clerk for Broughton Parish Council - part time (6 hours per week) c.£21,000 pro rata Immediate Start
Due to the retirement of our current Clerk, a vacancy has arisen for a Clerk to the Broughton Parish Council. Broughton has a population of approximately 2000 and the Parish Council has 11 members. The Council is a forward thinking and proactive organisation whose aim is to improve the environment and facilities within the parish for the benefit of the residents. Broughton is a lively and diverse village and the work of the Parish Council is varied and wide reaching. This is an opportunity to be involved at the heart of the community.
The role of the clerk is to attend 11 Parish Council meetings + an AGM and to carry out the administrative duties of the Parish Council.
Previous administration experience is required and training will be given where necessary
